Public API monitoring

openFDA shortage monitoring without another internal build.

openFDA makes public shortage records machine-readable. FormularySignal turns that public feed into watchlist checks, timestamped Signal Cards, and team-ready email or webhook outputs.

For builders

The Webhook plan sends structured JSON to a customer-owned HTTPS endpoint when your watchlist has relevant public-source matches.

For operators

The Watchlist plan keeps the output human-readable: HTML email reports with source links and text fallback.

For review

Signal Cards preserve source trails so a team can verify records against FDA/openFDA before taking any internal action.

Boundary

openFDA monitoring is public-source monitoring only. Records may change, local availability may differ, and FormularySignal is not FDA-affiliated. Reports are not clinical, substitution, procurement, inventory, compounding, dispensing, purchasing, or sourcing advice.
